First, let me introduce ourselves: we are the Princesses. I am Princess Ariel, and my wife, Princess Aurora, and I are aspiring writers who one day came up with a brilliant idea for a blog. Here's the story:
Princess Aurora and myself were joking around on campus one day, when I responded to something I'd said with the phrase, "Jk." Aurora then said we should talk only in chat speak to each other on some day, and I speculated that there may be a National Chat Speak day already in existence. So we decided to do some research, and although there was not such a holiday, we found many more lovely and hilarious holidays than we ever knew existed. I exclaimed that we should pick a holiday for every day and celebrate it, and I would blog about it on my other blog. But Aurora wanted in on the action, and so we decided to start a new blog together.
So starting tomorrow, we are going to pick a National Holiday every day and celebrate it somehow. We will post at least one picture with each update demonstrating how we celebrated, and we will take turns talking about what our experiences were as we celebrated that holiday. Even though Princess Aurora is moving away from me in the Spring, we will continue to write this blog apart until we reach this day next year, because today was a wonderful holiday that we missed out on (National Bring Your Teddy Bear to School & Work Day).
